Our Union is Vigorously Committed to Apprenticeship Technical Training for Brick, Stone, Tile, Marble and Terrazzo.  We have upgrade and specialty training for members and through the Trowel Trades Training Association we are the authorized training provider in British Columbia through the Industry Training Authority to conduct Technical Training for Inter Provincial Red Seal Bricklayer, Tilesetter and Concrete Finisher/Plasterer  with our partner OPCMIA Local 919.

We have a thorough and extensive Health and Safety and Specialty Training Course Selection from OSSA Confined Space, Fall Protection, BSO courses and the Enform H2S Alive Training supported by our partners in work the Masonry Contractors Association of British Columbia.

Recently this local undertook Brokk Specialty Training with the help of BAC Local 2 BC Contractor Cheeseman's Concrete Removal and will soon have a gunite training course available to members working in or contemplating work in the industrial sector.

Hydro Mobile Training

Thanks to federal government union training funds we now have a P-Series Hydro Mobile Mast Climbing Scaffold Unit inside the training center.  Call the hall if you are interested in operator training, which is required for at least two people on each hydro mobile scaffold unit in operation on a job site.  We will also offer Erection and Dismantelling Training as well.  Raise the Line with Us.
